Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, shortly known as DHCP, is very useful tool when it comes to networking with multiple computers in the network. It is a must have tool for an office network infrastructure. Of course, you can live without it, but it makes sysadmin’s life much more easier and let’s users just plug in their network cables and they are in the network. You can read more about DHCP here.

Ok, so let’s look at how we install DHCP in Ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS (Dapper Drake). I assume you did a clean install of Ubuntu Linux server edition or at least have a working Ubuntu running in your box.

Guccio Gucci was the son of an Italian merchant from the country’s northern manufacturing region. In 1938, Gucci expanded and a boutique was opened in Rome. Guccio was responsible for designing many of the company’s most notable products. In 1947, Gucci introduced the bamboo handle handbag, which is still a company mainstay. During the 1950s, Gucci also developed the trademark striped webbing, which was derived from the saddle girth, and the suede moccasin with a metal bit.

Malaysia is considering a ban on fast food advertising targeted at children, as part of efforts to promote healthy living among its people. But many industry players feel they are being unjustifiably penalised. Malaysia’s multi-billion dollar fast food industry has been blamed for the rising rates of obesity, diabetes and hypertension among the people. According to an industry survey, Malaysians on average have fast food two to three times a week and that is causing concerns among Malaysia’s health authorities that are now pushing for a ban of all fast food TV commercials during programmes targeting children aged 12 and below. Chua Soi Lek, Malaysian Health Minister, said, “The ban will raise the awareness of the people in Malaysia that eating just fast food has certain risks.” more at aseanads.com
